Dr. Lindsay Peer Webinar: 28th September

For many, this week heralds the start of the new academic year. All those lovely fresh faces with new haircuts, squeaky shoes, and a blazer two sizes too big and that’s just the staff!

We have an exciting announcement this month which is that here at the BDA we are re-launching our webinar provision. We are absolutely delighted that Dr. Lindsay Peer, an absolute “A list” celebrity where dyslexia is concerned, will be starting off our new programme on the 28th of September with a “Back to School” session. So for anyone pondering what on earth to do in their classroom or for parents battling with the “return to school demons” this is a “must do” event. Even better that, as it’s a webinar, you don’t even need to take your slippers off! There will also be an opportunity to ask questions directly to Lindsay. Information about the webinar is available by clicking here.

Dr Peer is also a key member of our Academic Committee for the BDA’s International Conference (12th – 14th April, The International Centre, Telford). She will be taking the lead in our new and innovative conference stream aimed specifically at parents/carers. This stream will be at a reduced ticket price for parents/carers on Saturday with sessions and speakers handpicked to offer inspiration, advice and information to parents/carers of dyslexic individuals. Tickets will not only allow access to this exclusive programme but will also allow access to the exhibition hall where there will be lots of resources on show.
