As many individuals working within education are winding down for a welcome summer break, here at the BDA we are starting to get excited about the 11th International Conference (April 12th – 14th Telford International Centre). It sounds like it’s a long time until April next year but there’s a lot going on behind the scenes!
Over the coming weeks and months we will be using this blog to keep you up to date with “all things IC” and share some of the innovations and developments as they happen.
Currently the call is out for the submission of papers. What does that mean?
This is where individuals or groups who have something to share about dyslexia or other linked topics can submit their ideas about what they would like to talk about to see if it can be included within the conference programme. For example; this could be a piece of research or it could be about a new intervention that you’ve developed and been piloting, or experiences about working with a particular group and the findings that you have identified as a result. The scope is really quite broad.
The deadline for submission is the 16th July, so if you would like to join in with the conference as a speaker…. Don’t miss the deadline!!
